Before I begin, I begin by saying that Islam means to submit totally to the will of Allah, and this is done by following the way of Muhammad ï·º, The Sahaba and the Salaf after them.

It means loving the Halal and hating the Haram for Allah.
It means striving to continuously do Tazkiyyah until we return to Allah.
_
Now moving on.
Abu Amir said he heard the Prophet ï·º saying:
_"From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful."_
[Sahih Bukhari]

Many people have fallen into this trap, of so called _"Halal Music"_.
The likes of Deen Squad and Maher Zain may have good intentions, but their action is corrupted and flawed because they use Musical Instruments which are expressly forbidden.

I warn you, Brothers and sisters!
Stay away from this, if you want to listen to Nasheeds, Listen to something with only vocals and meaning.

As Allah ï·» said
*Ùˆَ Ù…ِÙ†َ النَّاسِ Ù…َÙ†ْ ÙŠَØ´ْتَرِÙ‰ْ Ù„َÙ‡ْÙˆَ الْØَدِÙŠْØ«ِ Ù„ِÙŠُضِÙ„ُّ عَÙ†ْ سَبِÙŠْÙ„ِ اللهِ بِغَÙŠْرِ عِÙ„ْÙ…ٍ Ùˆَ ÙŠَتَّØ®ِØ°َÙ‡َا Ù‡ُزُÙˆًا*
_And from mankind are those who purchase idle discourse to lead away from Allah's path without knowledge; and to take it for a mockery._

Abdullah ibn Mas'ud رضي الله عنه swore 3 times by Allah that this *referred to music.*
You are not more knowledgeable than Ibn Mas'ud رضي الله عنه
Nor are you closer to Allah or Muhammad ï·º than he was.
So accept his judgement and avoid following your desires.

Then comes those who try and get around this rule by using vocals to mimic the sound of instruments which sound so alike they have to put a disclaimer to say it isn't.

Shaykh Muhammad Al Munajjid compiled guidelines according to the Fataawa of Ulema
And one of the conditions was:
_"It should be free of sound effects that imitate musical instruments, because what counts is what appears to be the case, and imitating haraam instruments is not permissible, especially when the bad effect is the same as that which happens with real instruments."_
